Versatility without compromise

At Central England Specialist Referral Centre we pride ourselves on bringing the latest innovations and technology to help us reach our high standards of patient care.
The Gendex GXDP-800 comes with Dose Reduction Technology that optimises image quality while producing very low radiation. It provides our team with various options on image output – DRT, Standard, High Res and Endo – meaning we are able to select the best option for each individual case.

  • Dose Reduction Technology (DRT) – for 3D images with radiation comparable to doses of 2D images
  • Standard Mode – with optimised patient dose for most clinical cases
  • High Resolution Mode – for extremely sharp images with highly detailed diagnostic information
  • Endo Mode – with 85 um voxel size and SRT function, specially designed for endodontics

Straumann 3 Shape TRIOS Oral Scanner

Digitised healthcare is becoming more and more customary in our everyday lives and dentistry is no exception with the move towards artificial intelligence, 3D printing and using technology for more conservative treatments. We believe that refining the accuracy and efficiency of treatments and the speed at which we can produce these results, really is the way forward for modern dentistry. At CESRC the ultimate goal is to use every digital innovation available in order to create a more precise treatment as possible with the best clinical outcomes for our patients.

Impressions will be replaced with scans and ultimately everything from preparation, temporisation and final restoration will all be completed in house at CESRC. 3D CBCT scans along with intra oral scans of the mouth allow for detailed accurate treatment planning. The use of these scans also allow us to better explain and educate patients about the treatment they are about to undertake. It makes for a much more comfortable patient experience eliminating the need for impressions and reducing the amount of appointments needed.

With immediate transfer of digital impressions to our lab patients can benefit from a digital workflow that delivers huge time savings compared with conventional tray impressions, allowing us more time for communication and patient care. Lab Scanner Our new in-lab desktop scanner will combine proven and established scanning processes with the latest computer technology in an elegant, functional design, to accurately scan models and impressions. This will allow us to design a wide range of restorations from simple copings to complex full arch implant cases In house Milling Our state-of-the-art in-lab milling machine will be used to produce a wide range of prosthetics, from inlays, onlays, veneers and single crowns to bridges and screw-retained restorations. Prosthetics can be milled from a wide range of materials including zirconia, glass ceramic, zirconia, PMMA, cobalt chronium, sintered metal, wax, lithium disilicate ceramics and resin nano ceramic.
